Simcha

history thumb

Be'Simcha was born out of compassion, vision, and tireless dedication of our founder, Michal Sayas. Born and raised in Haifa, Israel,
Michal was brought up in a home that prioritized the need to help those who couldn’t always help themselves.
In 2013, in honor of her mother, Simcha Koobi, Michal decided to start the non-profit Be'Simcha.
Since then, Be'Simcha has been a force for good, continuing the legacy of Michal’s mother and helping
spread compassion and hope to people
across our community.

Our Mission

At Be'Simcha, we are passionately dedicated to providing care and aid to impoverished Israeli American families in our community, giving them a hope for the future and a reason to smile.

Since the fall of 2013, Be'Simcha’s outreach efforts have helped hundreds of families and individuals in need. Today, we want to grow our efforts even more and are working tirelessly toward providing economically deprived families with both the resources they need to get back on their feet and the small pleasures in life they need to keep their spirits high.

At Be'Simcha, we are in constant need of people who are able to provide volunteer services such as tutoring students, driving busses, hairdressing, providing meals, and much more. WE BELIEVE IN MAKING DIFFERENCE!

Though we are constantly striving to do more, we are very proud of the difference Be'Simcha has made so far.
Here are some of the efforts Be'Simcha has lead and been involved with.

NEED HELP? WE'RE HERE FOR YOU

If you are capable of helping us, we are thankful. If you or your family have been struggling in any way, it is our turn to help you. We invite you to fill out our “I Need Help” form and be as descriptive as possible about your situation. Your application will then be personally reviewed by our team. If we think we can help you, you will hear from us soon. No one should have to live in unhappiness and uncertainty. At Be'Simcha, we’re here to give you a reason to hope again!
